Artificial intelligence agency in Gipuzkoa
Lagunbot IA is an artificial intelligence company from the Basque Country that designs bilingual Basque-Spanish chatbots, voice agents and automations for town councils and companies, and develops Lagunbot Presupuestos, our automatic quoting system for aluminium and PVC window and door fabricators.
We are based in Azpeitia and work with town councils and companies in Gipuzkoa in Basque and Spanish. We meet in person when the project calls for it and by video call the rest of the time. We design, test and maintain every assistant ourselves.

The two town councils whose case studies we have published are in the province, one in Debagoiena and the other in Goierri.
Arrasate-Mondragón Town Council
A bilingual chatbot for the council website that answers at any time of day about procedures, office opening hours, municipal events and social services. Beasain Town Council
Loinatz, the town council's virtual assistant, handles municipal information 24 hours a day in Basque and Spanish. Its knowledge base is updated when opening hours, procedures or the events calendar change, without touching the rest of the assistant. More in the Beasain assistant case study.
Companies
We also work with companies such as AGA Cerraduras Inteligentes, where the assistant answers customer queries, and the language academy Komalingua, where it answers questions about courses and handles pre-enrolments out of hours. All our published projects are in client case studies.

In Gipuzkoa, Basque is the everyday language in many towns, in public administration and in many companies. An assistant that translates from Spanish, or that answers in Basque with mistakes, is noticed straight away, and someone who starts writing in Basque may end up switching to Spanish or picking up the phone.
